Lifted Eyes Media is a Toronto-based production company founded by award-winning filmmaker Lisa Rideout in 2013. We create character-driven documentaries and scripted films that explore complex social issues with honesty, empathy, and cinematic storytelling. Our work is rooted in the belief that the most powerful stories strike a delicate balance between entertainment, emotion, and insight.

Lisa's work includes the Canadian Screen Award-winning documentary Sex with Sue, the TIFF-premiering documentary series Degrassi: Whatever It Takes, the acclaimed documentary series This Is Pop for Netflix, and the award-winning short documentary Take a Walk on the Wildside. Her films have been commissioned by leading broadcasters and platforms including Netflix, CBC, Crave, Amazon and Corus Entertainment, and have screened at festivals around the world.
